October 3rd

10:45am - 11:55pm (Breakout Session 1 - Bronze Room)

1:00pm - 2:10pm (Breakout Session 2 - Bronze Room)

With legalized marijuana only 2 weeks away from becoming a reality, this may be the last opportunity for employers to prepare for the effects this new reality may have in the workplace. This session will provide information on methods of consumption and testing as well as a crystal ball view into what legalized marijuana will mean to the workplace. The impacts that both recreational and medicinal  marijuana use has on safety will be discussed as well as employer rights and obligations when faced with a medicinal marijuana authorization.

Accompanying this presentation will be an opportunity for complimentary access to a Policy Development tool to help ensure employers are prepared for October 17th.
